The AIS India Chapter (INAIS) was approved by the AIS Executive Committee in December of 2016. Β The AIS India Chapter will focus on India as the region. The Chapter will cater to and support the academia and professional activities of practitioners in the Information Systems and related disciplines. The related disciplines would include Management Science, Information Technology, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Economics, Fin-tech, e-business, Information Governance and Policy and e-governance.
The AIS India Chapter will conduct India-centric programs and conferences for the benefit of its members. The executive takes an overall consultative approach and members of AIS are invited to contact any of the members of the executive with suggestions and comments. Please feel free to make suggestions even if you are not currently a member of AIS or INAIS.

The AIS India Chapter excels in strengthening interactions between renowned scholars and the Indian IS research community through its webinars and workshops. These initiatives will significantly enhance the research culture among young IS scholars in India, and I wish them success in their efforts.

Early career academics like me need a platform to exchange ideas that bring together researchers of various domains. While AIS provides a broad network, the localized association offers a crucial space for IS faculty and doctoral students in India to connect with scholars both locally and internationally.
Associate Professor,

I have witnessed the birth and growth of the AIS India Chapter (INAIS), which has quickly united IS researchers, scholars, and students in India, similar to AIS globally. By organizing top conferences, workshops, and webinars, INAIS has established itself as a platform that will shape future scholars and foster industry engagement.
